Our History
Founded in 2021, CGG Law Partners emerged from a share
entrepreneurial spirit and a deep commitment to justice within the legal community. Jason Lee Garcia and Carolina Garza-Gongora, the founding partners, first connected as solo practitioners while advocating for social equity in the Adult Use Cannabis market in Illinois.
After witnessing systemic injustices, especially against social equity
applicants, they were determined to create a law firm that would not only serve its clients with integrity but also challenge and change the industry’s standards. CGG Law Partners was established as a full-service, Latino-led law firm that prioritizes client empowerment, transparency, and access to justice.
OUR CORE VALUES
At CGG Law Partners, LLC, our core values define who we are and guide everything we do. These principles shape our approach to legal practice and our commitment to our clients, colleagues, and community.
Beyond the definition by the Model Rules of Professional Conduct, CGG prioritizes building strong, enduring relationships with its clients – relationships that are historically sacred. We honor this profound privilege. Through open communication, trust, and collaboration, CGG fosters a supportive and cohesive environment where every client feels valued and empowered.
CGG embraces a culture of innovation, continuously seeking new and improved ways to deliver exceptional legal services. From leveraging cutting-edge technology to pioneering new approaches in legal practice through customized service plans, CGG remains at the forefront of industry innovation, driving positive change and exceeding client expectations.
We uphold the highest standards of professionalism and excellence in everything we do. From delivering exceptional legal services to conducting ourselves with integrity and ethical conduct, we strive to exceed expectations and set new benchmarks for excellence in the legal profession.
Recognizing the importance of equitable access to legal resources and services, CGG is committed to breaking down barriers to justice. By providing innovative solutions, resources, and advocacy, CGG strives to ensure that all individuals, regardless of background or circumstance, have access to the legal support they need.
Commitment to serving the public interest is ingrained in every facet of the firm's operations. Whether through pro bono work, advocacy for marginalized communities, or involvement in public policy initiatives, CGG is dedicated to leveraging its expertise for the betterment of its communities.
Know Your Rights, Know Your Worth
“Know Your Rights, Know Your Worth” is a community based and
built legal education campaign that hosts community forums and legal education seminars in local neighborhoods in the Chicagoland area that have been historically disparately impacted. “Know Your Rights, Know Your Worth” was founded on the principle that when people are educated on their legal rights, they can demand that those rights be respected and better advocate for themselves while at the same time acknowledging and respecting the rights of others. We understand that rights and responsibilities are intertwined, and through education, we can elevate the self-worth and collective esteem of our community. We invite you to join us, share your experiences, and collaborate with us in building a stronger, more informed community.
